I am not sure how many people have read "The Once and Future King" by T.H. White, but it is one of my favorite Arthurian Novels ever. The Disney Movie, "The Sword in the Stone" is based on The first part of the "The Once and Future King." This Book is very good at trying explain for us in a reasonable way why King and how King Arthur Established his kingdom, while at the same time explaining it's downfall. It is a very touching tale of a mortal man who always wanted to do "right," and how his own Century, and how The teachings of the 20th Century (through his faithful Wizard Merlin) influenced his way of thinking. It is a wonderful dive into the story that still lives on in the hearts of many. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun read.
***** out of ***** (There is some violence and adultery in this book which may not make it suitable for young ages (hint: Nathan, Gregory, Katie, William))

I'm so excited to read it! Right after I tackle the six novels I have to read for my Native Am. lit class...
I'm in the middle of Ceremony now, and I am loving it. Like you say, the construction of the narrative is fantastic. We'll have to chat!
