Halloween in Beaverton

We had a great Halloween. Nathan was an Army Ranger, Katie started the day as an Animal Doctor and later transitioned to an Animal Doctor's Assistant, Gregory was Spiderman, and William was Woodward the Teddy Bear. The kids came to my office and trick or treated in the cubes. We then went to the Trunk-R-Treat with our church group. Trunk-r-Treating is when people bring there cars to a spot and open the trunk (maybe even decorate it), and then kids go from car to car. We then trick or treated our way home. The best neighbor of the night gave each child two King Size candy bars.

thanks for the post. Just love seeing those trick or treaters. It is heartening to know that trick or treat is still alive and well. I remember absolutely loving halloween and dressing up as a gypsy and wearing lipstick. I could not eat dinner on halloween night because I was so excited! The next best part of the night was pouring out our candy and categorizing it - big candy bars, small candy bars, single pieces of candy, gum (dad always took all of our gum a through it away - hard to believe when you think of how I am never without some in my purse these days). Anyway, thanks for the post. Those are adorable children. Katie will sure know what boys are all about when she grows up....she is outnumbered in a big way! Someday, that will be the GOOD news!

Great pictures!!! I was hoping to see the kids in their halloween costumes. Talk about a rad house--king size candy bars?? I don't think I ever got that kind of haul.

Haven't seen previews I don't think for the shark movie--will check it out.

ALSO!! You would love Jasper Fforde's The Eyre Affair if you're looking for a book to read. So fun.

Ok, all the words in this comment box instructions come up in Danish over here. Why, I don't know. Everything else is in English! I guess I will efterlad din kommentar and enter my brugernavn and edgangskode anyway.
Way cute pictures. Halloween with kids is the best. I can't believe how old Nathan is getting--he'll be baptized soon! Crazy. And I must say I love babies with hoods on...it just emphasizes their round aDorable faces. William's is especially adorable, of course!
Can't wait to see you all--it's not too far away!
