Dearest Family:
Your Mom (Grandma) and I are so honored by your willingness to spend a part of this very Holy season with us. Jesus, Mary and Joseph's family is celebrated by we Catholics during this same period. How apropos that we should be blessed to celebrate our wonderful family with all its members.
It was so wonderful to see your families and their interaction with their nephews, nieces, cousins, parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters. You are so wonderful, words that truly express our admiration, love and thankfulness just are not sufficient. A special thanks to Jeremy for braving such an enormous group of relatives all at the same time. You have passed your initiation with flying colors Jeremy. We love you and are so very pleased that you and Naima could take time from your busy schedules to spend this time with the rest of your family.
We are so impressed with the great strides each of you have made with your careers, your families and your faith. You are in our prayers each day as we thank God for all the blessings He has provided to us.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!
Mega dittos! We had a wonderful time, also. It was so great to be with you all!

Richard and I agree. We purred all the way home thinking of what a love fest we had in San Diego. It was so delightful to be with all of you and to enjoy conversation. What a great strength family is to us. We love you and truly cherish our ties to you.
Some favorite moments:
Sam's music
John Burton's sharing his passion for cart racing
Legoland and the fun that all the young adults brought to a place that is largely for little ones.
Dad's birthday and all the comments from the grandkids.
Mom's speech on our second dinner.
The great shirts, place mats, and mouse pads made by Uncle Rich.
The incredible power point by Uncle Rich that helped us get to know those who have gone before us.
Runs in the morning with John.
Greg's telling William Donald, "Get your own" when Will asked for a taste of his cake.
Baby Burke's decision to face plant in his piece of birthday cake on our last evening in SD.
Having cousin Max with us at the zoo and seeing his kindness to the little ones.
Rides in the van with Nai and Jeremy with the chance to get to know them better.
Breakfast at the radisson where we could visit and relax with one another.
Baby Burke's kiss on Uncle Burke's grave stone.
It was a great few days....
John and I enjoyed every minute. We love our big family so much. We love our mouse pad and placemats. The power point really demonstrated the history in our family and how important it is for us to get together with each other. I am so thankful that we were all able to be there. Thanks everyone for making San Diego such a memmorable event.
