I miss being able to talk to Don, Amy and Anna about American Idol every week, so I think I should create this post so we can talk about the show, and who we like.
I am excited for this year. I think there can be some great singers (and no Sanjayas!) and I like the group. I like the Rocking Nurse (Overmyer.), but I didn't like her performance this week. Who i did like is Robbie Carraco, and the Australian Luke Menard.
I miss watching it together too! :( I love the little LDS boy from Murray. He lights up the stage every time. I really like dreadlocks boy and also the Australian (I thought his name was Michael Johns or something). I like Brooke (lds also) and the Philippino girl--I didn't like her before but she was great last night. I also really like the Irish girl. It'll be interesting to see who goes off this week!
Who is the LDS boy? My pick is Raimele for the girls and David or the Michael Johns for the boys? I love this show. I think it is fun to watch the talent. It is hard to take for John, he get alot of reading done during the idol season. I would have liked to have seen how Josiah would have done. Oh well he was kind of a cry baby. Aunt Robin
There is alot of favorites for me this year, guys and girls. Top for the boys is David Archuleto or whatever (the young LDS guy--you should look up his youtube video of him singing O Holy NIght...looks like it is at a ward party). I also like the dreadlocks guy, Michael Johns. Kind of the same as everyone else, I guess. For the girls, my favorites are between Syesha and Asia I think. The Phillipino did an amazing job on Wednesday too. I am excited to see what else she does in the next few weeks.
I am an idol fan too. And I am in sync with all of you. Love David Archuleta....love the Aussie-Michael Johns....love the dreadlocks guy....he could lose the locks and make me happy, but I think the kid has great eyes and a great smile.....I was grateful that the Josiah kid got the axe, sorry Aunt Robin. I think he would have been Sanjaya with schizophrenia...not so entertaining - kind of sad and depressing....I hope the kid can get his act together.
I have difficulty telling the difference between all the blonde girls this year...I like Brooke - I like the Carol King style that she likes. Will be fun to see what each of them does in the weeks to come. I just wish we could all watch it together in the same room. Love all you idol-fans!
It would be fun to all watch it from the same room. Especially since we obviously like the same contestants. I'm a big david archuleta fan as well. Behind him are David Johns, Brooke, Sayesha, Asih'a and that phillipino girl as well.

all i have to say is that i called 2 out of the 4.
I also like the dreadlocks guy. (In spite of the dreadlocks.) He was super charismatic and a great singer.

David Archuleta is officially my favorite!! The kid is a rockstar. David Hernandez was pretty great this week as well.
