Wow! The big 3-0!! I like Don because:
*He is so funny--makes me laugh more than any other human being.
*He is great at accents/impersonations
*He sends me Brian Regan videos
*He has such a phenomenal wife and boys.
*He is so fun to talk to--very insightful conversationalist
*He has great opinions on movies/books/music/life--always love hearing what Don has to say.
*He was so fun to live near in Provo--I loved hanging out w/ Don, Amy and Joe--certainly the highlight of my MA. He took great care of Joe and me.
*He is intelligent
*He is handsome
*He taught me how to ride my bike with the clip in shoes, and was so fun to go on bike rides with.
*He is fun to play games with
*He is a great example--his strength in the gospel strengthens me.
*He and Amy flew me over to Denmark and showed me a great time--they are SO hospitable.
*He has a great love for all things humanities--love talking art and books with Don. He has GREAT taste.
*He is fun to shop with.
*He gives great advice and is a great sounding board.
And I love him! Happy happy birthday! I look forward to the time when we all migrate to Portland :)

I love Don because he:
* is wise. He reminds me of Dad in this quality.

*was an amazing teenager - had it all - and kept it all in perspective...was nice to everyone...never became arrogant.

He is super fun to be with.

speaking of great stories--hearing about will and burke and poopy diapers at balboa almost made me die.

He is very easy to talk to…
is always duly impressed with accomplishments of others
He is a very calm thinker & gives wonderful advice
He takes a very sincere interest in those things I like. Once he called me when the Cougs were beating the Huskies in basketball. I was so happy we were winning and even happier that someone was sharing it with me a few states away.
He introduced me to cycling.
He strives to makes things fun for others
A superb story teller and he may be even a better story listener.
He is always a good person to steal…I mean borrow clothes from.

because his name means "warrior" and it comes with a great genealogy. He does the name justice and adds wonderfully to its heritage.
because he combines tenacity with humor, which makes him a great leader and a happy companion.
because he, like at least three generations of his fathers before him, had great wisdom in his marriage choice. He continues the tradition of marrying "up".
because he has a great laugh - and when he really gets going he can laugh so hard he makes others cry.
