here's who I like so far
i LOVE danny from day one--his rendition of hero was amazing. probably my fav in the competition so far.
i love michael--song choice tonight rocked.
i love allison, the little red head 16 year old--bad at interviews, but amazing voice.
i LOVE jorge--such a cutie and a great voice. love him.
scott is great
i love Adam from the beginning too. and his can't get no satisfaction was phenom.

These are my picks: Allison, Lil Rounds, ADAM, and the Geraud kid( I like his jazzy style). Jorge was really good bad song, fantastic soulful voice. Missed the first half of the Tuesday night show, but there are what 11 more weeks: ) so plenty of time. Adam is such a rocker, the voice and the look and stage presense galore. I think it will be a good season.
Okee dokee - here is the Momma Bennion take on Idol 8 -
Danny Boy - I really like this guy and am interested to see what he does each week. I think he is very interesting and creative musically. I also like the good/normal vibe he brings.
Like Geraud also, Auntie Robin. Thought he was much better than Adam Lambert the other night. Thought he did the best with the Michael Jackson songs. I like the little 16 year old rocker from a song standpoint, but I find her personality pretty DUMB. Love Lil Rounds. I always like the R&B singer and so far, Lil has done very well. Adam is a bit much for me - but I have to say I am always interested to see what he will do...if there is too much dramatics every time, I think it will wear thin. We'll see. I think Kris Allen is one to watch and I think Alexis Grace is talented as well. Megan Gorkey is dorkey but drop dead gorgeous...Michael Sarver is lovable and exudes nice guy. I like Anoop, but I don't know if he has the whole package. Should be fun....
Amy and I are both enjoying Idol this year. Here it goes.
Cream of the Crop:
-Danny: I really like his raspy voice... he seems like he comes from a good family and everytime I hear him sing I think that he sounds better than I remember him.
-Matt: Reminds me of Yamin. I like the soulful sound and the piano is really cool. When he's on he's way on but he was way off on the Coldplay a few weeks ago.
-Lil: I really like her and she's amazingly talented. Not sure if I'd buy her CD but she's amazing.
Middle of the pack:
-Kris: Growing on me. I liked him last week and I hope that he sticks around. I don't know him that well yet.
-Allison: As everyone said... great voice, weird interviews.
-Megan: I like the Duffy sound but she overdoes it for me. I about died when she went "caw... caw" last week at the end of Rockin Robin.
-Michael and Scott: Too nice to go into the botton group. Great guys with decent talent.
Bottom:
Adam: Not a fan. I haven't heard a song that I like. Way over the top for my taste. I don't know what my problem is but I haven't liked a single performance.
Alexis: See above.
Anoop: Nice guy but I don't think I've really enjoyed a song since his audition.
Jasmine and Jorge: Definetely the right choices to leave last week. Nice folks but neither did anything for me.
