HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBIN

I love Robin, our first born, with all the love a father can give.

I love the way she makes lemonade out of the lemons she receives from life.

I love her determination that has served her well in overcoming some bumps along her way.

I love the way she has made each day memorable in some very special way.

Robin had more experiences in her first thirty years than anyone else I know and came out the wonderful person I adore.

Robin's smile and laugh brighten every occasion and brings tears of happiness to my eyes as I remember all the times that smile, that laugh made my day complete.

Robin is a great mother, auntie and wife.

Her talents are manifold and she exercises them always.

I love you Robbie with all my heart, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday, Robin...
I love you because
you are a great example of someone who is really good to "the least of these"

you are undaunted no matter what the challenge - real estate, sewing, money issues - you just keep moving

you are fun and funny and love a good laugh

you are compassionate without smothering

you are strong and optimistic

you will not let life defeat you no matter how hard it tries

you are smart and have lots of intersts. You are like a little radar station, picking up information all over the place and tucking it away until it's useful.

you are a great and faithful friend and have as a result, developed many faithful friends.

you are a great cook

you are very good to me even when I have been a pill

you are a wonderful and faithful siter, auntie, daughter, mom, wife.

I adore you and am so grateful that we are friends!

Has a great sense of humor and sees the funny side of life. She is a fun person to watch kids with. She really gets the funny side of them.
Is our great confidant and advisor on real estate and gives great practical advice.
Makes my Mom so happy and really makes her laugh hard.
Raised great children who are so fun to be with and get to know better.

I love my mom.

She is a true adventurer, I can remember traveling across the country from Morgan Hill to Cleveland on the train (she wanted to take the train, because she thought it would be the last opportunity to do a cross-country roadtrip--it would be the great American roadtrip.) She wanted to stop in every city and get the feel of each city. I was a bit more shy and preferred to stay in the train (so we wouldn't miss the departure) but she insisted we experience each place. And we saw my first snow on the mountains of Colorado, saw the deserts of Nevada, bought a Chicago pencil, etc. She has always had this zest for adventure, and probably has made me a stronger person for it.

She has an incredible eye. I can remember her talking on the phone to Grandma or Linda or one of her friends and by the end of every phone call she would have an incredible drawing. She would just call it a "doodle", but I would consider it a masterpiece!

She is so much fun to people watch with. She has a relaxed way of taking people in and always has the best insight.

She is never scared to try new things and therefore has so many great stories.

She is so artistic, (i wish i still had her 1970's embroidery) full on dragons embroidered in multi-color threads.

She has true kindness in her and never a mean bone.

She has always been a friend as well as a mother.

She makes me laugh.

She knows how to calm me when I am feeling huffy and bratty.

She has a zest for life that is contagious.

She is a beautiful person, with an incredible way of looking at the world and I LOVE HER!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Love,

Nai
