I read a great quote from Mark Twain about fatherhood. Like many14 year olds, he did not appreciate his father's wisdom. At 21 he said, "I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in 7 years."
that is a great quote john. great picture post by ann and rob. that picture is great, very natural. the little kids are all smiling and half the adults aren't looking at the camera...not the usual problem but we'll take what we can get.
I heard a good one in Church, A teen age boy quips at his father, "gosh dad take it easy this is my first time being a teen ager and the father answers, this is my first time being a father." So true.
What a fantastic family. We are so very proud of all that each of you have accomplished and what wonderful fathers you are or will be. We love you dearly.
Killer picture, Ann! Absolutely love it. It really is quite amazing to think of 32 years! It is a day at a time....in John and Wendy's case, it is a minute at a time....intense!
