Happy Birthday Robin Burton!

Tomorrow Robin, our first born, will celebrate her sixtieth birthday.

I love Robin because she is happy, compassionate, loving, irrepressible, gutsy, lovable, and beautiful.
I love her for her courage and her fortitude in difficult times.
She is so talented in so many ways, but most especially when she sits down at a sewing machine to create lovely and practical clothing.
She makes everyone feel special as she lights up a room.
Mom and I are anxiously awaiting her visit on May 27 the day after her birthday along with her brother Burke.

Hear...Hear for Robin
I love her because she has the best darn sense of humor and cracks me up
She IS gutsy which used to scare the heck out of me...remember that ride at the "company picnic" when I was crying and begging the operator to stoooooop and Robin was laughing her head off. I begged her to stop and she said she would if I would quit yelling at the guy to stop! I quit.
She is unbelievable with a sewing machine...I marvel at her confidence when she sews...she is amazing.
She is really one who looks at the glass as half full...which has given her the ability to survive and come out the victor in so many circumstances.
She has amazing wisdom ... sometimes, I would think she was doing the most nutty things and then there were times when I just marveled at her calm and smarts when life's storms were blowing hurricane gusts her way.
She cheered for me...we cheered for each other. I could be mad at Robin, but no one outside my family better say anything bad. I would have gone to the top of the mountain for MY sister.
She is the easiest person to be with...I think it is her innate love of people and her sense of humor.
She rarely is rattled...when I am shaking in my boots about some event, Robin is out there checking it out and in the thick of seeing what it might be like.
She is loyal to her family.
She is a very competent realtor.
She gets things done.
She really loves to learn and knows a lot about a lot things.

Robin, I adore you. I really do!

I am not sure if I want to follow Grandad and Mom(Linda)...

I like Robin because she is so kind
She is friendly to everyone and makes everyone feel so welcomed.
She is the light of her family all of whom I adore being around. Apparently it has rubbed off on them.
She is positive and makes everyone feel great about who they are. Those are the people that are truly a blessing to be around.
Happy Birthday!
