When we misbehaved we were told that we'd get spanked. When Swiss kids misbehaved they were told that they'd be taken and eaten by the man below. He has been immortalized on a fountain in town. That's a tough bluff to call at 3 years old, especially when after you're shown this fountain. I'd imagine that these were some pretty well behaved kids.
