Day 3

On day 3 we went to Keukenhof Gardens in Holland and enjoyed the morning in the most beautiful gardens we had ever seen. It was huge and we didn't get a chance to see it all even in 3 hours! I'm sure it's even more impressive (hard to imagine) in a month when *all* (there were some already) of the tulips are blooming and the trees are covered in leaves.
We were some of the first ones there and enjoyed the park to ourselves in the morning. It smelled amazing and was so peaceful.
They had an incredible petting zoo and playground.
Every variety of tulip that you had never heard of, plus millions of other flowers as well. This was a small greenhouse where they were displaying and selling different types.
Burke enjoyed the small simple pleasures.

Love seeing Burke take in the tulips with his whole self! That boy is sooooooo cute! I am so glad that you have had the chance (and taken it) to take your dear little family on this amazing adventure. The pictures are gorgeous! It is incredible to think of your access to Europe by car...It is also incredible to think of you driving in all of those foreign countries...that was always a big adjustment for me from the passenger seat! :) Have a great time as you wind up your tour. You two amaze me with your planning and pluck....most would find traveling as you have, with all 3 boys in tow, too overwhelming to contemplate. Sounds like it has been a joy to be together as a family on this trip! MEMORIES!!!
